The Bariatric Comfort Chair is an extra-large chair offering all the comfort, flexibility and features of our standard Comfort Chair.
The Bariatric Comfort Chair features unparalled tilting, reclining and leg rest elevation, making it easy for caretakers to shift positions, ensuring the frequent repositionings of the body required by long sitting hours. Or for users themselves to adjust the chair, using the remote control for the optional electrical positioning system.
Available in a variety of seat sizes with versatile cushioning, the chairs can be designed to fit the exact measurements of any user.
Also have your own choice of the size of the wheels, whether it's rear- or front wheel driven, if it's powered or manual, gas-operated or automatic. (The shown Bariatric Comfort Chair is a manual, 12” rear wheel driven chair with gas operated tilt, recline and leg rests).
This chair meets all relevant ISO and EN standards and has been crash tested and approved for use as seating in motor vehicles. All upholstery has been treated to make it fire-resistant.
Our cushioning series ensures support exactly where needed and includes individually-designed anti-thrust, wedged, lumbar or side supports. Seat cushioning has in-built ventilation and all cushioning can be supplied with incontinence lining.
We are offering a wide range of accessories that can be used to create the exact amount of functionality and support needed by the user. These include additional remotes and modules such as attendant remotes, sip ’n’ puff, finger steering and switch inputs as well as headrests, thoracic supports, hip guides, pommels, trays and pushing handles.
The modular construction system makes it easy to adapt the chair for a new user without hav- ing to invest in a new chair.
